the story of our modern & colorful letterpress studio
Bodega Press (for those unfamiliar with the Spanish word bodega, meaning winery) is named after the centuries-old establishments found throughout the south of Spain dedicated to the skilled art of winemaking. Inspired by the history and tradition surrounding the production and ageing of wine, the founder Sandra settled on a name which recalled her own memories of Spain, as well as conveyed her love of vintage design and traditional craftsmanship.

our philosophy
It’s human nature to give sentimental value to a physical object associated with an important person or event in our lives. This is why we lovingly create tangible custom printed goods for businesses and individuals seeking stationery or branding with sentimentality in mind.
We strongly believe that the language of art speaks to everyone. Our studio caters to people from all walks of life and have a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination. We treat clients as individuals, deserving of respect, sincerity and kindness. This in turn is reflected in the end result: powerfully personal designs, printed with diligence and care.
Printing with an antique press is a uniquely tactile experience. We handle each piece one by one, from beginning to end, considering every detail, from design to finished product. Because the process is 100% hands-on, we quality check each individual piece to ensure it meets our high standards.

For me, travel and creativity go hand in hand. Travel teaches us resilience, courage and ingenuity. It opens our minds and fortifies our connection with the world and those living in it. Travel has shaped me as a person, which is how I know it influences my approach to design.
My love of art began as a young child. I discovered a passion for editorial design and earned a degree in Design for Publishing. However, I still felt like there was something missing. I came to realize it was the ability to make, to physically produce something. Up until then, my creative process began and ended behind a computer screen. Since finding and falling in love with letterpress, I am finally able to enjoy total creative fulfillment.
Sandra went above and beyond in creating our wedding invitations. She was a great collaborator and communicated with us every step of the way. The craftsmanship, care, and dedication put into creating the invitations were evident. The letterpress, foil, and colors were unbelievable.
